Is it a Prime Number?

This calculator is used for finding out whether or not the number entered is a prime number.

A prime number is a number that cannot be found by multiplying other numbers (other than 1 and itself) together. Think of it like the prime colors: prime colors are colors that cannot be made by mixing any other colors together; they are the basis of all the other colors.

Prime numbers are always odd (because all even numbers can be divided by 2,) but all odd numbers are definitely not always prime (7 and 5 are multiplied to make the odd number 35.)

To use this calculator, enter the number whose primalty/primeness you which to inquire upon and press "Calculate." You will be told whether or not the number is prime; if it's not prime, you'll be given the lowest number it can be divided by.
