Divisibility Test

This calculator tells whether or not a number is divisible (can be divided by) by another number. More specifically, it tells if the bottom number you give can be evenly divided into the top number (so that there is no remainder from the division.) However, this calculator does not give the result of the division of the two numbers.

To use this calculator, enter the number that will undergo the division in the box labeled "Value" and enter the number that will be divided into the other number in the box labeled "Is Divisible by." To see if the larger, top number is divisible by the smaller, bottom number, click "Check the Divisibility."

Note: the number you enter in the "Value" box must be larger than the number you enter in the "Is Divisible by" box for your two numbers to be divisible. If you put a decimal in both or one of the two boxes, the calculator will tell you the two values are divisible.
